Help Stop the Kenosha Casino
Please take a few minutes to share your concerns by submitting a comment to the Bureau of Indian Affairs using the form below. All Wisconsin residents are encouraged to participate.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs has released a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and opened a 30-day public comment period, which closes on April 12, 2026.
The Draft EA does not provide the level of analysis needed to fully evaluate potential impacts on traffic, crime, gambling addiction, or economic harm to local families and businesses.
The risks to families, local economies, public safety, and statewide finances may outweigh the promised benefits.

- The casino could affect all Wisconsin residents by risking statewide tribal gaming revenue as the existing compacts may force the state to pay as much as $400 million in compensation to other tribes, cutting funds for schools, roads, and services everywhere.
- Residents have had no meaningful opportunity to ask questions or access critical project information.
- The City and County rushed through their agreements without requiring basic transparency, studies, or guarantees. We’re being asked to accept a major project with almost no real information or accountability.
- Regional competition has increased significantly with developments in Beloit, Waukegan, and Rockford, yet no updated analysis has been provided. There is also no clear explanation of the projected job creation or tax benefits. I am concerned about the limited economic upside and the growing evidence of market saturation.
